At Axis, we support Hampshire and Isle of White Air
Ambulance (HIWAA) with donations. For each check a trade review or survey
response we receive, we donate £1 to HIWAA. We believe this is an important
charity as they help so many people, and anyone may need their service at some
point.
The helicopter is based in Thruxton, and is usually airborne
within 4 minutes of receiving an emergency call, and can be in most locations
in Hampshire within 15 minutes. So far this year, Hampshire Air Ambulance have
flown 527 missions.
HIWAA receive no government funding, and rely entirely on
donations to fund their life saving missions. At Axis, we have pledged to
donate at least £1,000 over the course of three years.
